The Fuji Pictrography is mentioned almost every time I ask other graphics specialists what they consider the best-of-class. When I visited the Center for Advanced Imaging, a 5-million dollar teaching facility in St Louis, they have a Fuji Pictrography right alongside the latest model of Imacon vertical scanner.
Indeed I was first told about the Fuji Pictrography several years ago when I began to move from traditional photography into digital imaging. The Pictrography is not a dye sublimation printer, but this web site covers all kinds of digital proofing technology. Internic limits a web site name to just 26 letters, so it was kind of hard to list all the flavors of digital color printers that we review.
The Pictrography 4000 digital color printer can cover 12x18 inches which of course is 11x17 full bleed (11.7 x 17.7), or, for Europe and Asia, A3 size. For a photo exhibit, this is an ideal size.
