This web site is now developing a directory of color proofers (page proofers) both for prepress as well as photo proofers for photography studios. At DRUPA 2000 (the world's largest printer trade show) we will inspect all proofers and expand this page. DRUPA is the last two weeks of May; the reports will appear in the following months.

www.dye-sub-printer-review.org is mainly for dye sublimation but a natural extension of this coverage is color proofers. Hence we are beginning a section on color proofers. It will be a few months before we can finish this list, but at least here is a start.

What is DVD-RAM? The FLAAR Photo Archive recommends MegaHaus as a reliable company that can provide you the CD-RW, CD-R, DVD-RAM, and hard drives that you need (Seagate, Quantum, etc). We recommend Quantum as the most reliable drives; we use Maxell DVD-RAM disks and Maxell CD-R disks.
